FAYETTEVILLE, W.Va. — A Fayette County man faces multiple felony drug charges following a series of controlled buys.

The Central West Virginia Drug Task Force executed a search warrant Thursday for a residence along Tourison Addition in Fayetteville.

Jason Stanley, 32, was arrested on two felony counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance. He was transported to the Southern Regional Jail after being unable to post the $30,000 bond issued by the Fayette County Magistrate’s Office.

“Fayetteville is usually a quiet place, but drugs don’t discriminate neighborhoods,” said Sheriff Mike Fridley. “If you choose to sell drugs and draw attention to yourself, chances are, you will receive a visit from us.”

The case remains under investigation by the Central West Virginia Drug Task Force.
