Felicity Lynn

Growing up in Southern West Virginia, The Big Dawg was the soundtrack to my childhood. From listening to the morning show on the way to school, to Country Gold with Rowdy Yates on Saturday nights, 99.5 was always on! After graduating from Independence High School, I went off to college in beautiful Buckhannon to West Virginia Wesleyan to study technical theater. There I learned so much about the arts, technology and creativity while also navigating a pandemic that brought me right back home. I was given the opportunity to intern for the summer at WJLS and fell in love with radio, or as I quickly learned it to be known as “theater of the mind.” After a while I was fortunate enough to work my way up from just “the intern” to a permanent piece of The Big Dawg. Now I have the best of both worlds, being right here at home while creating my own art and appreciating that of others! Outside of the studio I’m an auntie whose world revolves around her little gremlins and a devoted fur mom (cringe if you’d like) working hard so my dog and cats can have the best life possible. I hope you’ve had a coffee, or two or three, and can join me weeknights 7 to midnight on 99.5 WJLS. Whether you’re winding down from the day or workin’ on the night shift, I’ve got for all the hot new country and some country music classics just for you!
