Sheriff Frank Priddy announced that a Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office investigation has led to the arrest of a local man on multiple fraud-related charges.
According to the sheriff, Cpl. R. McDaniel investigated a complaint on January 2, 2026, alleging fraudulent activity involving Adam Wayne Quesenberry.
As a result of the investigation, authorities obtained warrants charging Quesenberry with the following offenses:
Grand larceny
Fraudulent schemes (three counts)
Obtaining money by false pretenses (three counts)
Sheriff Priddy said Quesenberry was subsequently charged and taken into custody following Cpl. McDaniel’s investigation.
