An investigation is underway after the body of a Mercer County man who had been reported missing was found Sunday.
The Mercer County Sheriff’s Office confirms the body of thirty-three-year-old Travis DeGraw has been located. Chief Deputy Major J.J. Ruble says the investigation is ongoing and no additional information is being released at this time.
DeGraw was reported missing after last being seen December 26th in the Nubbins Ridge area near Spanishburg. The AWARE Foundation, a Roanoke-based search organization, assisted in efforts to locate him.
Authorities say more information will be released as it becomes available.
