BECKLEY, W.Va. — The Beckley Police Department says a man who allegedly stole over 3,000 dollars worth of cigarettes from the Harper Road Kroger late last week has been arrested.

35 year old Geoffrey Thomas faces a charge of grand larceny.

Thomas reportedly entered the store last Friday morning and took the cigarette cartons in a duffel bag.

He is currently being held at Southern Regional Jail.

BECKLEY, W.Va. — The Beckley Police Department needs the public’s help identifying and locating a robbery suspect.

It happened early Friday morning at the Beckley on Harper Road. Police say the unknown male stole over 40 cartons of cigarettes.  The stolen merchandise has an estimated value of $3,259.00. The suspect packed the cartons into a duffel bag and walked out.
