Promotions Director
West Virginia Radio Company of Raleigh seeks a creative individual to oversee our busy marketing department for WJLS AM and FM in Beckley. This is not a Monday – Friday 9 to 5 job!
Our successful candidate will create, coordinate and execute station events. Duties include, but are not limited to, communicating with listeners, work with our sales team on client programs, oversee station interns and part-time event staff, maintain promotional calendars, oversee station community service, and organize and execute remote broadcasts. We are looking for someone who is good at problem solving and pays attention to detail. Strong organizational and computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Office, are a must.
