Duo arrested for Tuesday Fayette County burglary

KINCAID, W.Va. — A Fayette County couple is behind bars for a Tuesday morning burglary.

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Department said they responded to a Theatre Road residence at around 9 in the morning. A neighbor noticed two individuals taking items from the home and called the homeowners, who then called police.

Upon arrival, deputies found two subjects who appeared to be residing in a rear room of the home. The home was owned by someone from out of the region.

Gary Underwood, 31, and Katie Eagle, 33 and both of Lochgelly, were taken into custody. They each face a felony count of Burglary. They were taken to Southern Regional Jail after being unable to post $10,000 bond issued by the Fayette County Magistrate’s Office.

Deputies are still searching for a white Dodge pick-up truck that the pair used to transport the stolen items.
